Paul Kinvig

Paul has been the Chief Operating Officer at  Bournemouth Town Centre BID for nearly 6 years. An experienced & accomplished conference chair & presenter, he's chaired events for The Newspaper Society of Great Britain, LV, Merlin Entertainments, MOTO, AFC Bournemouth and many more across the south coast. One of the major projects in his current role is helping to create a new BCRP across the Bournemouth conurbation involving 4 BIDs

 

matthew Scott

Matthew was elected Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in May 2016.

His role is to set policing priorities for the county, by consulting with the public and putting together a Police and Crime Plan. He then holds the Chief Constable of Kent Police to account for the delivery of that plan. The PCC also sets the council tax precept for policing, is responsible for the overall policing budget, and commissions services for victims of crime and funds community safety projects.Mr Scott lives in Swanley with his wife and three young children. He is a fan of cricket and football, enjoys real ale and is a keen musician, having played in cover bands across the South East for a number of years.Mr Scott chairs the board of BlueLight Commercial, a company created to support police forces' commercial activity and save taxpayers' money.

Julie davies obe

Julie was, until recently, the overarching Manager of Partnerships Against Business Crime in Staffordshire,  Lead Director for Place Management at Stoke on Trent City Centre BID and a Board member of NABCP.   She recently took a step back from the day to day management of PABCIS adopting an advisory/consultant commitment to PABCIS.   Staffordshire is home to the oldest Business Crime Reduction Partnership in the UK, and Julie has been in charge since its inception in 1988, a grand 34 years. In 2011 Julie was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2, for her services to the police and commitment to tackling crime affecting business. 

Mark rowe

A journalist since 1989 apart from a year washing dishes and travelling in Australia in 1998; and editor of PSM, a monthly print and online magazine covering UK private security, since 1999. He’s the author of seven history books, most recently Tour de Farce (2020), the story of the anti-apartheid protest that stopped a South African cricket tour in 1970.

Sophie jordan

An experienced BCRP Manager and National Standards Accreditation Lead Assessor, Sophie is responsible for the day to day management of the NABCP, supporting and advising our member BCRP Managers by sharing best practice, policy and guidance on all issues relating to Business Crime Reduction, as well as representing their views at National level.

Sarah morris

Sarah is an experienced BCRP manager with 12 years of experience helping businesses reduce their crime and disorder. She is dedicated to partnership working and has developed a strong passion for safeguarding and how this approach can help the business and the person. Through her role as the Intelligence Manager and Safeguarding Lead for the Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP), she urges for services to intervene earlier, and to educate partners that everybody holds a duty of care to safeguard children in our community. Working with stakeholders to “think child first” to prevent a reactive, often operational, response to young people involved in Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour. She is passionate about encouraging services and communities to understand complex needs at a deeper level, to enable an early intervention to take place.  

Superintendent patrick holdaway

Superintendent Patrick Holdaway, from the City of London Police, has been the lead for the National Business Crime Centre (NBCC) since December 2018. During this time Patrick has worked across policing and government to raise the issues that affect business, in particular working to prevent violence, tackle organised crime whilst developing and sharing best practice across business and policing.

Ed Woodall

Responsible for communicating ACS’ policy positions across Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved nations with civil servants, parliamentarians and external stakeholders. Ed leads the ShopKind campaign that brings together over 130 organisation and retail businesses to prevent violence and abuse in shops. Ed has given evidence to numerous parliamentary committees in Westminster and devolved nations and contributes to policy developments across a range of government working groups including the Department for Business and Trade, the Home Office, Department for Levelling Up and the Home Office. Ed has an MBA from Surrey Business School.

Professor Emmeline Taylor

Emmeline is Professor of Criminology at City, University of London. She is Chair of the BCRP National Standards Board and a member of the National Retail Crime Steering Group (NRCSG). She hosts the podcast, Retail Crime Uncovered. 

Darren Conway

Darren is the Group Managing Director at Lodge Service, He has over 30 years of experience in senior roles in retail operations, loss prevention, health and safety, and trading standards, working with major brands such as Fraser Group, Superdry, TJX, and Debenhams. Darren’s role is to manage the Lodge Service group of companies, comprising of 10 separate divisions, from screening and vetting services, through to technical installations and Bid Warden deployment. Darren is committed to fostering collaboration and trust among security users, suppliers, BCRPs, Police, and business groups, to combat the risks of crime and enhance the industry's standards and practices

Yasmine McNamara

Yasmine is the UK Security Project Manager for Tesco, responsible for Business Improvement Districts and BCRPs from a security function perspective. Understanding how Tesco can better use the local support tools to make our stores and communities safer places to live, work and shop.

Maxine Fraser

Maxine joined Retailers Against Crime in 1998 and has been instrumental in growing the partnership to where it is today. Maxine and her team continue to work together with members, police and other agencies to target and disrupt retail criminals from the ground up to those linked to serious and organised crime.
